Davidsonville residents enjoy easy access to major commuter routes including Route 50 and Central Ave west to Washington and the I-97 heading north to Baltimore. Davidsonville History
Originally the home to several Native American peoples, Europeans first settled in the Davidsonville around the 1600s. There was a major boom in construction in the 1700s, and many of the buildings from this time period remain.
The Anne Arundel Country Free School was built sometime in the early to mid-1700s. The Davidsonville Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, with six other buildings around the community also listed.
