Jay Riley

About

Jay Riley is Chief Administrative Officer of Northrop Realty. With 20+ years of real estate experience, Jay oversees the administrative operations for the award-winning, full-service brokerage, supporting more than 400 real estate professionals.

As CAO, Jay is an integral member of Northrop Realty’s executive leadership team and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations, including human resources, information technology, and marketing efforts. Jay previously served as Chief Marketing Officer for the company.

Prior to this role, Jay spent five years as the Director of Marketing for St. John’s Properties, where he was responsible for directing various in-house marketing and PR efforts, including developing and executing cross-functional strategies to promote and maintain the corporate brand and messaging on a national scale. Jay began his career working for the Northrop brand in 2002, holding numerous roles in lead generation, marketing, IT, and home staging over the years. 

In the community, Jay is committed to driving positive change through his advocacy work and serves as Vice President of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance - Central Maryland Chapter. He is also active in the real estate community as a member of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Jay graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
