CLARKSVILLE, Md.—Northrop Realty, A Long & Foster Company, opened an office Aug. 15 in Delaware, the first Northrop Realty office located outside Maryland. The 2,500-square-foot office, located at 37077 Coastal Highway in Fenwick Island, currently supports five real estate agents and provides a base for agents handling transactions in Delaware.

“Many of our clients in Central Maryland are buying and selling second homes in Delaware and on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, so we’re opening an office in the region to provide the best possible service for them,” said Creig Northrop, president and CEO of Northrop Realty. “We’ve opened new offices across Maryland, and we’re excited now to serve our clients in Delaware.”

The Delaware office is Northrop Realty’s third new office to open this year, following its Frederick, Maryland, office, which opened in June, and its Ellicott City, Maryland, office, which opened in March. In addition, Northrop Realty has offices in Annapolis, Clarksville, Columbia, Silver Spring, Sykesville, and Timonium, Maryland. 

Formerly the Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate, Northrop Realty became a full-service brokerage within the Long & Foster Real Estate family of companies last year. The transition from real estate team to brokerage allows Northrop Realty to grow its service areas.
