2012 Howard County Heart BallAs sponsors of the 2012 Howard County Heart Ball on Saturday, May 5th, Creig & Carla Northrop were pleased to witness nearly 400 guests celebrating and supporting the American Heart Association’s mission. Carla’s dedication as a member of the Auction Committee and Creig’s willingness to yet again lend his signature voice and passion to the Live Auction resulted in a record breaking year for the Open Your Heart Dollars Campaign! In addition, we are thrilled to announce that the monetary goal set by the American Heart Association was exceeded by $80,000 resulting in a net of $295,000 for this year’s Heart Ball! Thank you to everyone who participated in making this one of the most successful years ever!

The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate has renewed its partnership for the second consecutive year with University of Maryland Athletics and the USO of Metropolitan Washington in its sponsorship of the “Hoops for Heroes” program.

Last year The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate donated $14,300 to the USO of Metropolitan Washington by donating $100 for each three-pointer scored by the Terrapins during the 2010-2011 men’s basketball regular season. “The USO’s role is to do the little things to boost morale and let our nation’s service men and women know they are supported and appreciated,” said Elaine Rogers, president of the USO of Metropolitan Washington.

He attended Elon University in North Carolina where he studied Business and Communications earning his B.A. in Corporate Communications.
