COLUMBIA, Md.—Carla Northrop, vice president and CEO of The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate, received SmartCEO Magazine’s “2014 Brava! Award.” The award recognizes women CEOs who demonstrate entrepreneurship and community involvement.
"I am very proud to be recognized by SmartCEO as a recipient of the BRAVA! Award, and want to thank them for the work they do in supporting business leaders in the community,” Northrop said. “To be included among this group of strong, inspiring women is truly an honor.”
SmartCEO Magazine commissions an independent committee of 10 local business leaders who select 30 “Brava! Award” recipients each year. According to SmartCEO, recipients encourage local philanthropy, mentor colleagues; and help their companies grow. Recipients will be recognized at an awards reception in July.
