This year's tour will be held on Sunday, December 15th and features five historic Howard County properties including The Shrine of Saint Anthony in Ellicott City, Folly Quarter Manor (McTavish Carrollton Hall once owned by Governor John Lee Carroll and Van Lear Black, publisher of The Baltimore Sun) located at the Shrine, Richland Farm (with the original 1781 log house), Dalton (built circa 1925 on brick and stone foundation that may date to 1770) in Columbia’s Thunder Hill neighborhood, and Salopha (circa 1742) in Sykesville. Ticket holders will travel comfortably en route to the various historic sites aboard a fleet of Eyre Buses. New this year will be onboard drinks and snacks available at a nominal cost.
