About

Tanja Allen is the Director of Business Development at Northrop Realty. With over 15 years of vast leadership and sales experience, Tanja is responsible for strategic planning and execution to drive market expansion, revenue growth and profit performance. 

Tanja began her career in the mortgage industry, where she quickly learned the ropes and became a top producer. She prided herself on building strong relationships with her clients, colleagues, and vendors. Her outstanding sales success and relationship building led to her position as Lending Manager where she expanded, managed, and oversaw operations until 2008. Tanja spent the next 10 years in the health and beauty industry where she developed and managed multiple offices for one of the largest medical spa chains on the East Coast and a cutting-edge nutritional fitness company.

Prior to joining Northrop Realty, Tanja spent 3.5 years as a Branch Director at Robert Half, a S&P 500 company and the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. Here she developed and managed one of the most successful offices in the region.  In her roles, Tanja utilizes a transformational leadership approach and believes in always keeping a positive mindset.

 Outside of work, Tanja enjoys spending time with her sons, Luke and Jake, who are avid athletes and sports fans. You can often find her at the basketball courts or baseball fields watching their games. Tanja is also an animal lover and enjoys taking her dog, Clemson, hiking and swimming at the area parks and beaches.
