Ray Bularz is the Chief Brand Officer at Northrop Realty. With 29+ years of brand, creative, and marketing experience, Ray manages all aspects of the brand which includes strategy, traditional, and multi-media creative.
As CBO, Ray is an essential part of the executive leadership team and is responsible for growing the brand’s footprint in the Mid-Atlantic. He works closely with the CEOs and leads the development and execution of the brokerage’s strategies which includes brand, creative, marketing, and digital experiences. He excels at ideation which inspires the in-house team, and outside agencies to work closely with him to execute high-impact, high quality, and high-performing brand, marketing, and creative experiences for the end-user. His current brand initiative and marketing campaign, The Closer Club Gang, has generated enormous growth and expansion in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
Before joining the Northrop Realty executive team, Ray was the Senior Brand Strategist and Senior Creative Director with Capital One where he managed cross-functional multi-media in-house teams and third-party partners throughout the U.S. Ray began his career working for several national, international, and local creative agencies and ultimately owned two full-service agencies that were later acquired. Ray also taught design and marketing classes to graduate and undergraduate students as an adjunct professor (faculty) at Towson University (State University).
Ray and his wife Karen live in Baltimore and are active in local initiatives like AARF, the Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation and the ABC Greater Baltimore Education Academy and SkillForce Center which helps to build a better Baltimore. They enjoy spending time at their beach house with family, friends, and their dog Lucky who they adopted from AARF.
