Mariann Miller

About

After graduating from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Mariann decided to accept a position at FSC Securities Corporation.   At the same time, she obtained her Maryland Real Estate license.  After approximately 11 years, she took a position with the National Association of Securities Dealers which eventually became the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), where she excelled in her career as a regulator in the financial service industry for approximately 20 years.   In 2010, she was recruited into the role of Chief Compliance Officer with a SEC Registered Investment Advisor.  Subsequently, she joined Potomac Financial Group as a Financial Advisor in August 2019. 

Mariann is a Registered Salesperson with Northrop Realty in Maryland and Delaware.  She is a Registered Principal with Raymond James Financial Services, an Investment Advisor Representative with PFG and a Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional.  She is currently working towards obtaining her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

As a Real Estate professional and Financial Advisor, Mariann believes in fully educating her clients on all aspects of their financial life, including their Real Estate needs. She takes her fiduciary responsibility very seriously to ensure that her clients are getting her absolute best professional advice and recommendations based on their specific circumstances.  Mariann’s philosophy is to create and continuously review a balanced, well-positioned financial plan, which includes real estate, for her clients that can meet multiple goals over her clients lifetime. 

Her favorite pastime is spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and helping coach their softball team. She enjoys all things Maryland, from supporting their athletic programs to sponsoring their various fundraising events.
